Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
The ds remake of FF3 is awesome. I'm playing that alongside the Dragon Quest 4 remake and ChronoTrigger(!!!!!!!). I love my DS(i).Pipjim wrote:Ivory Springs.
Not only remade, but just being made period would make me happy.
Also the entire series of Megaman Zero.
My favorite game has always been Final Fantasy 3/6, but I don't want them to ruin it with a remake.

Chrono Trigger is all that's been in my DS for the last 10 months. One more time through and I will have beaten it more times on DS than I did on SNES :D

I really wish I could have been around RPGs more in my younger days.
The only RPG I have ever played was Pokemon, other than that it was mostly platformers.

Resident Evil 1 Directors Cut with re4/5 controls. The re5 expansion was decent but it wasn't the same mansion. I want to walk through it and be able to look around! It could never replace the original but would be interesting for me.

Reunion, Amnesty Design.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reunion_%28video_game%29 this in my opinion was one of the best bug ridden games ever. It perhaps has the best intro to any game period, and great sfx and music theme throughout, if you wanna see how a game should be designed that any hobby developer could do today with little effort "without the bugs" then this is the primary model of such a game.

Poekmon Red, in full 3D.
But not on Nintendo. I want the graphic to be win (it deserves it).

I agree that it is amazing, but the problem is that different fans would want different things in a remake. I really don't mind the graphics - but I can't stand the tediousness of the random battles anymore.Kyosaur wrote:Im sure this has been said already (if not, you guys are slipping!).

Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
Actually, the graphics of FF VII are brilliant, I'm not surprised they made the characters that lowpoly, and lets not forget they made higher poly models for the battles with a more basic scenary.
I am a lot more impressed with the FF IX graphics though, probably as good as it could get on a PS One.
Edit: I'd love a remake or sequel of FF VII.

Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
Games i'd like to see get a "modern makeover" are; Crystalis, River city ransom, Shadowgate, Solstice, Crono trigger, Super earth defense force, Super mario RPG, Final fight, Toejam and Earl, Beyond oasis, and Dragonforce. Oh i'd also like to see Goldrush, Oregon trail, the Legend of Kyrandia series, Lexicross, Toonstruck, and Gabriel Knights series all modernized.
Pinky are you pondering what im pondering?
