Re: Adventures in Game Development
I have heard (and agree) that people tend to respond better whenasked to do something instead of being told
such as changing:
"Fix that tile"
to:
"Hey would you fix that tile?"
basicaly just putting it in question form makes a difference, people are mor obliged to do it if it sounds like they have a choice. (even if they don't )

If you have respectful member on the team who can tell you nicely "Please would you very much kindly mind eventually or actually sometime in the future possibly or considerably maybe please perhaps try getting to work?" ( ) then it sometimes counteracts the "Goddamn it asshole, go make your shit work!"
Which is why I'm saying this right now:
GODDAMN IT PETER! WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU PUT ITEMS IN HALF OF THE BOXES ON THAT LAST CLIP!?!?! WERE YOU TOO GODDAMN STUPID TO CHECK THE LUA SCRIPT AND SEE THAT YOU NEED TO OVERLAY AN OBJECT BEFORE IT'LL WORK!?
Yes, guys, that was all his fault. ;P
Also, thanks to the guys who've been watching the AiGD series...I speak for ever member of the team when I say that I appreciate the support, and enjoy seeing new faces around these parts of the internets.

Re: Adventures in Game Development
Thank you very much for the support. Once again it does mean a lot, as this has become a major part of our lives (each episode requires an enormous amount of effort to create, that's why we desperately needed this break).
Unfortunately she turned out to be a little (actually quite a bit) short of being a "jackpot." Notice that she isn't in any other chapter. I will say that if she is the jackpot, I have "hit it" plenty of times, though.kyraptos wrote:i love that new chick falco you've just HIT THE JACKPOT!!!
