I've removed your original systat account and renamed tatsyS to systat so that you keep your posts and crap. Change your email address if you want.
Personally, I don't know why Falco even tries to do administrative things, he's not any good at them :D

Oh right, and an official welcome to you four :)

Because I'm a sadistic bastard who gets pleasure out of having power over people.

...I'm just too lazy to exorcise such power.

It lies dormant within me. A demon waiting to be awoken.

Hey all, just joined a few minutes ago, but been meaning to for a few days now. I originally found Falco's "Getting Started" videos at work because I have to listen to music all day, so I put on YouTube videos of people talking in the background - so why not about game development? As something of a "professional" in the industry, I found them very inspirational, and watching the "Adventures" videos really made me want to really start working on my side project again.

So yes, I'm working on a game, blah blah. Okay, that's not entirely true - I was working on a game, and long story short it was canned because it had served its purpose before it was done. On to bigger and better things. I would have ripped apart my computer out of frustration before it was done anyway, because it was in DarkBASIC, and the 3D engine for it couldn't possibly be less efficient. So I went from DarkBASIC to Blitz3D, which I like. However, I'm learning Python right now to use the Panda3D engine, though I'm not 100% sure I'm going with it.

So now that I've gone and made an entirely too long intro, I'll leave it at a thank you to the team for making awesome inspirational videos on their development process, and an offer of any assistance I might be able to provide (mostly audio-related, I suppose).

If you're serious, we (the team) can talk about it.

I'm absolutely serious. I'm currently limited to voiceovers and MIDI at work, so I'd love to have some side projects while I attempt to be a programmer. :)

Ha, okay, yeah my real name is Joe Kelly, but my name is always aamesxdavid online: David Aames from the movie Vanilla Sky.

Hey guys, I just joined. I've been watching the Adventures in Game Development and they've inspired me to get back into making games.
