Doubt it all you want, it's the truth. Knoppix and Ubuntu both lost support for my graphics card and ethernet card on installation--I had to get the drivers via the liveCD on the internet just to get them working, and then mess with some other files to get everything working decently, and still never got my video card driver working properly (it segfaulted on me for no reason that I can tell).

If you want to make a switch to linux, at least partition your hard-drive or allow dual operating systems or something. Don't do away with any Windows platform.

The best advice that I can give is get Windows XP. $100? lol.

BAH! I said I was going to duel boot on my first post. I never said I was going to kill of windows. Partitioning will be involved.
