Lolz, I think we've intentionally NOT done that.

These forums have existed since we were little kids--originally only our IRL friends and such posted here. The plan is to either create all new forums for our game, or transfer these ones to our game's domain. THEN, when the site's up, we'll worry about getting some traffic. ;P

Until then, these are, and will continue to be, the team's main method of communication for the game. Anybody who wishes to sign up or whatever should feel free--I am in no way discouraging traffic. I'm simply saying that we haven't yet gone out of our way to publicize the fact that these exist. That time will come a bit later.

Makes perfect sense. Before publicizing you'll probably want to archive this in some way. I'm sure after announcing forums to the public (YouTube; possibly elsewhere) there will be plenty of spamming idiotic assholes to corrupt your methods of communication ( YAY Private Admin Forum!! ) lol. Just think of the TheNiceLordBJ & friends (like he has any) who are habitual offenders via youtube comments.

What I meant to say was that we're not trying to get a ton of traffic atm because there's not too much to see; most everything is in the hidden "private development" forum. We're going to get a better host and an actual site for the game. When that happens, then it will be worth directing people to our site.

Oh, yeah, and if I see this fucking topic flagged as unread one more time, I'm going to nuder somebody.

When we get the new www.ourgame.com site, we'll transfer these forums and actively advertise them as a place where aspiring game devvers (especially from the Youtube community) are welcome to talk, show off their stuff, recruit teams, etc.
