It is very easy to argue that it was actually George H. W. Bush that created the surplus of money during Clinton's presidency. I'm not saying that its true either way, I'm not really an economist so I wouldn't be able to give the facts.
But to the topic questions, I am sadly a little over a month too young to vote. But if I were too vote I'd probably vote for Obama. I really don't like him all that much but I dislike him less than McCain, mainly because of their views on the war.

Lolz, my parents and I are aboth registered to vote at the same place. I'm probably going to be standing in line with my mom and dad... and I'm voting for the opposite party!

I waited until after work so that I would be absolutely sure that my mom and dad wouldn't be there...
GUESS WHO WAS THERE.
The minute I get out of my car, my dad walks up. "Hey son, it isn't looking good."
So we go in, vote, blah blah. When we finish, I'm like "Hey dad, guess who I voted for...."

How did he react? I'm curious because I'm from the Netherlands and here about 80% of the population supports Obama (both right and left), including my parents. I wonder what it's like to have an entirely different view then your parents.

Ron Paul was a Republican. He wasn't the Republican nominee. What was he supposed to do?

I didn't say that he was supposed to do something.. I just said that I can't believe he wasn't nominated. And we know who's responsible for that.. lots of people, that look into hypno-tube for answers.
