Re: &JIN
I have an announcement to make.
About 2 weeks ago I got an irreversible bsod and I sent my hdd to the nearest data restore center. Luckily, they recovered most of the D partition with every music project I ever worked on and some pictures, but most of the C partition was dead. Yes.. Including the precious C:\Users\Jin\My Documents\VS2005\Projects. I´m suspecting a virus from one of those pr0n sites or even physical damage. As far as I´m concerned, it could even have been their fault and not telling about it, cause it was pretty cheap. In any case, every line of code I ever wrote is lost.
After years of working on this thing it never occurred to me to make a backup in case something like this happens.
Anyway. The announcement is that I am leaving everything programming related behind. It´s a clear sign that the universe wants me to make music. You´re looking at a man who will never feel the joy of hitting F5 again. :_(
So remember kids. Always make backups.
PS: I would probably never even have finished any of this. So.. no loss for society.

I don't think is was OS fault. The OS fault was probably just a result.JesseGuarascia wrote:We've lost a what could've been a great contribution, all because of an error in your Operating System. Sad day man, sad
I probably could have rewritten the whole thing a matter of few months, because I was mostly learning along the way. Plus, half of the code was tutorials code adapted to my needs. This is just an opportunity to start getting better in my main role. no more mr. red mage :P. Another thing is that people who have a sort of career relationship with me thank god for it.
