Thanks. I was hoping to be done this weekend but life has gotten in my way a lot lately. If I have the time I should be done with the final boss fight today. That will be it for the main animation but there is still a lot to do after that.

Wow...I actually finished the main animation. Still a lot to do though. Score, credits, live action edit, but I am so much closer now. I will post some screen shots either tomorrow or Monday if anyone here is interested. Though they might look a little dull. lol

If anyone is reading I could use a hand. I need credits music for my animation and I'm looking for some suggestions. Preferably from an 8-bit game (but I'm not against 16) and not from SMB 2.

Should have been done by now but I keep noticing little things that I have missed. Like scene transitions and other things normal people probably wouldn't notice. Unfortunately if I don't correct them they will haunt me until I die...unless they are to complicated for me to fix and I reluctantly accept it.

This would make the best credits music ever:

That's just my not-so-humble opinion.

I always liked most of the music from Faxanadu. I'm not really sure what kind of feel you'd be going for in your credits though.

I'm assuming you know about (but for other people who might have suggestions but they can't remember if the track is actually any good) :

While that is pretty cool it wouldn't fit the motif that the whole animation is occurring within the world of 16 and 8 bit games. What I'm looking for would just be a cool song straight from a game. Still cool though, thanks :)

No particular feel in mind at the moment. I'll probably just go with whatever strikes me when I hear it. The Title theme from Fax is actually pretty good.

That sight is great for some of the stuff I'm working on. I found it completely by accident long ago but thanks anyways for dropping the links. Saves me from having to rip a lot of music and sounds.

OK SPOILER TIME!!! Kind of.... Just posting some images like I said I would but these have more than just my character standing about. They kind of give away some of the power ups I use so it might spoil the surprise of the finished animation. Still I said I would post something so I will.

Main animation is done. Score and timers are done. Credits are half completed and then all that's left is editing the live scene. So very close.

Still looking for suggestions on music if anyone cares to chime in. :)

Balloon has two L's, in case this typo made it into your animation. I didn't look at many screenshots since I'd rather watch the animation, but Mrs. Pac Man, lol.
EDIT: Oh yeah, you could always use chiptunes. Going to see if I have anything good...

God damn it to hell I always type too sloppily and typo balloon like that. Fortunately it's spelled correctly in every instance in flash. Not that it would matter though, all instances are simply for my reference and never shown on screen.

I love me some chip music. I miss my C64. I'll check the zip once I'm home.

So far potential NES songs are.

• Little Nemo credits roll
• Faxanadu Title theme
• Adventures of Bayou Bill (Forgot the level it’s from)
• Crystalis Story theme

So far I’ve only gotten NES music suggestion. Looking into Master system and GameBoy music too. The whole thing should be completed either tomorrow evening or sometime Friday.

Oh, and Track 16 of Faxanadu is very similar to the title theme but might be more suited to credits.

Either the opening or the outdoor theme to Ninja Turtles would be awesome. And I'm linking these two videos because the themes I'm talking about start at the exact same second in each.
