Correct, just it wasn't exactly Japanease, and there is a mobile-phone app for that now (it uses GPS tracking)

This is one step closer to a joke me and my friends had in English class back in April. "The new console is going to be called the Sega Dream(cast) it knocks you out and makes your dream a game."
It's kind of tame, but it was to our bitch of a teacher.
I'm pretty stoked about Augmented Reality these days. I'm looking into the Goblin library for XNA. Unfortunately it uses a ARTagWrapper dll that can only be downloaded when you buy the dude's book... But, I wanna get something going, so I went ahead and purchased it.
In the mean time, I've just been tinkering with some AR demo applications, which are pretty damn sweet - hence the new avatar.
That pic looks shweet, I wonder if any big retail games are going to come out for AR, or you're gonna make one...
Either way I'm pretty sure it has a huge potential.

that tank one was pretty sweet! I'm thinking some sweet RTSs are gonna come from this
the first one was a little dumb... I wonder how the actual game would be???
I'm going to make GM app that loads in a picture and searches for areas with heavy shading(AKA outlines), those will be converted into walls and it will be converted into an FPS. So if I wanted to shoot zombies on a naked girl, I could.
I'm going to get to work on that. I'll log my progress, if I have any, in this post.
I'll steal my friends super rad idea of 3D models through code.
EDIT: 11:28, Got loading done. We'll see how this turns out.

Like [graphics program here]'s line finder tool? Might look into that.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.
My AR research has caught the interest of some of the higher ups in the company. They now want me to build a tech demo of AR running on the iPhone. They're getting me the equipment next week.
