Nice...

I've been lifting since I was 17, I'm 22 right now. Here are my stats:

Height: 5' 11"
Last weigh in: 189lbs
Lat Pulldown: 210lbs
Bench: 240x12
Squat: Don't remember the exact weight, but I remember doing 2 plates of 45lbs on each side of the bar plus a little more.

That's beast. I can do 45 maybe 8 times. My triceps are big though. Afterall, 2/3 of the humerus muscle is the tricepts.

avansc wrote:okay, lets use your formula.. an ants ratio would be 50.0 + does that make him stronger? the whole weight/ownweight has some points to it, but in most cases is used by smaller people to justify something.. usually about self image..

and its also treated as a one way street.
you can probably do more pull ups than me. but im also pulling 100 more pounds. but that does not get factored into the equation...
The ant is definitely stronger...

OK, but in all seriousness, I completely understand what you're saying avansc. Which is why I stated previously that I know the equation is a crude formula and that I do not know all the required factors that should be taken into account.

I also agree with the fact that you would have to pull up more weight for pull ups then I would. Although, disregarding anything that was said in regards to me and "davidthefat's" differences in "strength". We all have our own limits, and just because one person is bigger then the other, should not make it to where size is the line that draws the difference between what those limits are, which is obviously something we are both seeming to be oblivious to in our previous remarks.

In regards to others posts... you guys make me jealous with the weight you guys are curling.

Crazy that the site looks exactly like what the teacher of that class showed us during a small seminar. Although David, I am done having little conflicts with you in regards to it. I have already taken my step to clearing up this channel for those who are actually going to post something of relevance that isn't in regards to our talk.

So we can go ahead and stop talking about it. ;) (Last post in this topic by the way, I have work to do. No more time to both responding.)
