The historical implications of this quote from Bobby Boucher are monumental. How dare anyone laugh at such a decadent analogy of Reaganism, pritam! :worship:

Yea, thats a truelly awesome movie. And Dustin Hoffman's character is based on a real person called Kim Peak and hes an autistic savant (well he died not too long ago but you get the point).

Gotta love movies that are more or less based on reality.

Edit: Just added a list of the movies mentioned in this thread at first page of topic.

Hellraiser2, has an autistic and mute girl who solves puzzles, and solves the puzzle (Lament Configuration) that opens the gateway to hell. It's a damn good film if you like that sort of thing, as in chicks with no skin, and accupuncture.

What's Eating Gilbert Grape, sorry if that's been mentioned - Decraprio does an excellent job of playing an autistic boy, a lot of people actually assumed he was autistic.

Hellraiser2 sounds creepy, but yeah, adding it to the list. Gilbert Grape hasn't been mentioned, I remember this one as well, it's pretty good. Thank you.

Get them. Now.

;)

edit: The two i recommended aren't 1/2 as meaningful/heartfelt--they're Hollywood as fuck. But still very much enjoyable (from my standpoint).
I'm really glad i read the first page of this post since i was about to suggest mercury rising, it's bad ass.
