This is a load of bullshit.

Why stop liking a game because a new game that comes out looks less like a video game and more like real life so wouldn't you feel as though your not playing a game but your really shooting people and thats not fun if you're trying to play a video game. So in this oint of view Pac-man has better graphics than Halo.
A glitch?

Actually, the point well being, pac-man is just simply more fun to us (or at least me) than Halo. AND that is where you are wrong, Halo has exactly 16 times as good of grafix as pac-man.
You are better than me.

I personally find neither very fun.

Phhht. I still haven't seen a game that looks that good (even Unreal 3). Go ahead, take a look around. Now look at a screenshot for UT3 or Elder Scrolls or something. There's still a huge difference, and I seriously doubt any game will ever be so advanced that it feels like you're really shooting someone. How are you going to experience the recoil of the gun and guilt of killing someone? Face it, a game like that won't come out (if ever) for a vveeeerrryyyyy long time.

OMFG WTF? I get nothing short of a nice, pride and pleasure for wasting those dirty mother @#%$^&s.

I'm sorry, but if it was my mom in a video game I'd still get pride out of blowing her up. It's just the way I am. If nobody dies in the game, it sucks!

Everything from goombas and kremlings to players on Quake III Arena and Halo 2. Killing is just fricken fun!

Halo is much better than Pac-Man.

I don't believe that 2D games will ever die.
Many 2D (or 2D-ish) games are still being released for the new consoles, although some are just collections.
This is a joke about unfunny jokes. And bad use of irony.

Yes, video games with no killing in them suck, but your own mother? :?

Hell yeah I'd kill a virtual representation of all my family and friends. Even myself!

Just couldn't kill the chick in my avatar... Sorry, can't... :?

I lost a lot of respect for DS when I found out it cannot play Gameboy or Gameboy color games. They litterally don't fit. That was a shock, and it goes to show that the Dark Era might be arriving...

Showdin is right, collet and respect your classics. All new borns will probably grow up never hearing of the Video Game origins. That seriously blows, so we should collect now before it's too late.

Showdin, you think 10$ is a lot for SNES games? I just spent THIRTY on Kirby's Dreamland 3. Just the cartridge. That is a HUGE rip off, but I couldn't resist. I just couldn't.

OMG! You can't be serious! That is over double what I payed for SMW2 out here! (SMW2 was still very expensive!) I need to save 25 more dollars for personal things   Then whenever I get like 5 bucks, I am just going to go to gamecrazy and buy SNES gear. *Next thing I plan to buy Super Gameboy- 15 bucks!!!! THEY RIP YOU OFF SOOOOO BAD NOWADAYS!...The worst part being...WE ALWAYS FALL FOR IT!
You are better than me.

OMFG WTF? J00 warezer!!!111one

You're telling me that you'd rather have romz/warez on your computer than play the games in their actual glory for your console?

I would pay $20 for a MegaMan game instead of warezing it. It's just glory.

JSL, you really should respect your roots more. Maybe you're saying this because you don't own an SNES, Genesis, or NES. If you did, you'd realize the glory and thrill owning the actual game and playing it on the console is!

I don't think anyone understood what i meant.

When you think about this there are 2 basic classifications of graphics.

NES & X Box

I know everyone's like WTF?????

You see X Box looks more like real life and NES looks like just some Video Game.

In one sense. X Box has better graphics than NES for looking more like real life.

In another sense NES has better graphics for looking more like some video game.

You might see someone playing X Box and think that they are just watching some sorta movie and walk past them and wish that you had some video games to play.

But let's say they're playing NES. You walk in. you look at the T.V.
and say hmmm. thats a video game alright. I can tell that it's not a movie because it looks like a video game and not real life.

So is everyone clear on that thur graphics thing?

And don't even get me started on talking about gameplay.
A glitch?

But i do own an SNES. But I'm not going to go out and spend $500 on used cartiges when I can just put em on a CD and play em on teh DreamCast. I can even use the original controller too.

OR I can simply plug in my Coomputer controller and play on the Commpoot with perfect emulation.... I can live with the slight difference in controller. Now if I had a tun of money to through away, i would collect the orginals, but I don't.

Whoah whoah. When you bring the DC emulation scene into this, I almost agree. I still think the actual thing is better though.
