How can one set up SDL in Netbeans on a Mac (Lion)?

I would suggest removing the fullscreen part unless you want to go look for a fix for it, that's where the issue is.
Fullscreen application manage the window differently then how a normal window would in your desktop environment, this code changed with OS X Lion and applications like ManyCam and other screen recording/viewing applications had to update their code in order to fix the problem.
If fullscreen is a feature you absolutely need, then I would suggest looking for a fix somehow, if not then don't worry about the warning as you shouldn't get it unless you try to launch in fullscreen anyways.

If you have any more issues I'll try to look at the thread every so often, or perhaps someone else will see it as well.
And yes, I do live in America and celebrate Thanksgiving thank you :)
