If an object/space has a with, height and a depth, it is a 3D object/space, no matter what.

Did you even read my post? I specified exactly what I meant.

I only wrote down what i thought the real definition for 'Pseudo 3D' was, so someone could correct me and teach me the real/correct definition for it.

Well if your intention was not to argue, then sorry about how I replied. I don't believe it's a real term, and even it's been used before I doubt there's a widely accepted definition. My point was that if you substitute "low prim" for "psuedo 3D" in all of my above posts then perhaps what I was trying to say would be more clear.

Let's get this topic focused back on recommendations for how the OP can best enjoy his shiny new Sega DreamCast.

So what constitutes low primitive count at this point in time? The Dreamcast's 3 million polys were an absolute shitload back in the day... And on the subject of textures, it has more video RAM than the PS2, which is why the colors are always more vibrant on the Dreamcast than the PS2 with DC/PS2 ports.

Took forever but I finally got my dreamcast today with a copy of Sonic Adventure , gonna crack open a few beers , have a little scotch and kick robotniks ass!

The person that sold it to me on ebay sold it to me with the wrong power cord, but luckily i own nearly every system, barring new ones and older sega models, any way, the power cable for the PS2 is exactly the same for the DC. To my dismay however, i seem to have overlooked the need for a VMU . so that will be my next order, probably with Jet Grind Radio

Make sure you checked voltage / amperage coming in and going out, just because it fits doesn't mean it's the right one. If you already checked, then good on you.

Thanks for the warning, I just checked and they are the cables were manufactured to the same specs
