I have a Dell. I wouldn't insult a brand without having a reason.
I guess I just don't like them because alot of people think that just because a computer is a Dell, that it's automatically a good computer.
Also, my computer is a Dell, and is possibly worse than the Macs used at school.

It's fricken 5 or 6 years old, of course it's bad. Judging an entire computer company by an outdated product doesn't make any sense.

It was a bad computer when we bought it.
I also don't like Dells because they are made with cheap motherboards that require a specially-made power supply and are virtually impossible to upgrade past a certain point.

You're still basing this all on an obsolete product.

Actually, it's probably because the old Dells differ a lot from the new ones, and this is the reason it doesn't run like the Macs at your school since those are probably newer.

My father has a friend that builds computers for people as a part time job.
He came over to our house, and we discussed PC parts and upgrading and brand name stuff.
I got that information from him.
