What the fuck are you talking about? You haven't said shit to a single one of us, and you haven't been present for the last several months when everybody BUT you was working their ass off.MarauderIIC wrote:Say what?cypher1554R wrote:Don't worry about them tho.. I could/would never take resources away from the ES team, without their consent.trufun202 wrote:the last thing I would ever want to do is take away from the ES team... Believe me, Elysian Shadows is the inspiration that has kept me working on Golvellius. Without the ES team, I'm sure I would have gotten bored and moved onto other soon-to-be-abandoned projects. :P

The novice realizes that the difference between code and data is trivial. The expert realizes that all code is data. And the true master realizes that all data is code.

The only colors that you have added to Trufun's thread are brown and green--the colors of a gigantic pile of your blatant bullshit.

I made a little joke, and you raised a tower of dusting shit.
I guess that's what makes you popular with the kids..

Unless there is some back story to this, it was completely obvious that cypher was joking.

Trufun. Your Vortella model looks pretty good. I haven't played this game before but you came up with a cool interpitation of the sprite work. I noticed you have a little bit of texture pull on your UV space [the tentacles on its head] but it's nothing major. I still have problems with that myself. The scales look great, how exactly did you go about making them?

Thanks Orin, I use the following apps for my models:OrinCreed wrote:Trufun. Your Vortella model looks pretty good. 1. Milkshape 3D - 3D modeling
2. Unwrap 3D - UV Mapping (which yes, I kinda suck at...getting it perfect takes way too much patience)
3. CharacterFX - Rigging and animation
4. FragMOTION - Animation Labeling and Export to Ogre XML
Here's a clip I put together about the process:

Re: The Official Golvellius Thread
Hey, Trufun. I'm very interested in talking NPC AI concepts with you like we did with Lua textbox stuff (which I still haven't implemented. Can you show me where we discussed it? I had everything figured out, but now I can't remember, ROFL).
Are your friendly NPCs going to be walking around? I'm sure this is mostly for enemies. So how is it going to work? Are they going to have their own heartbeat in Lua? Actually, how do your snakes work? Is that hardcoded into your engine?
