Thanks for noticing, yeah I looked up how much overclocking has been done safely, and 70mhz was the most common, so i adopted the name. I'm not here to advertise, just thought I might share where i found out about this place. the game development looks really good, keep it up!

Hello World, my name is Tim Cool. I’m a 22-year-old aspiring game developer. I’m in college with an AS, working toward a BS in Computer Science. I’ve been in school for a while now; I started out with the intention of earning an EE degree. (ack!)
Anyway, I’ve always been more interested in the software side of things (self taught VisualBASIC when I was 10, nerd alert!).
I’m experienced in the following languages/scripts (the usual suspects): C/++, Java, VB, HTML/CSS and TI-BASIC (lol)
I’m getting better at the following languages/scripts: obj-C, Bash, Python, and Ruby

I’m also on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/tcoolpg
Current Projects:
Syntropy - Platformer/Run and jump game. Vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGOSOg8nQMc
Generic Level Editor Project – uhh name pending… Going for the easiest to use, cross platform, most generic level editor ever made. You should expect me to be pimping this project on these forums in the near future.
Undisclosed iPhone project – ;) .

Other:
I’m a video game nerd. (obviously, why would I be here?)
I'm a fan of Nintendo, and I love MacOS *runs and hides*

*from behind a large rock*-- Pleasure meeting everyone.

Hello everyone, Will's the name, I'm new here, but not to programming. I've been into this field since 12, got started in java, kind of a jump straight in, i know, but i caught on pretty quick. A year in, i started learning C++, and have been ever since. only a year ago did i "try" to learn a graphics API, but installing it on VC++ 2008 was a pain (i know, why do i use it, i'm not sure). I got a little depressed, but tried it again, and got allegro to work. w00t. Now I'm learning basic game development, like I have always wanted. Thank you Lusikka for introducing allegro, and Thank you Gyro for introducing the process.

Hi there, :D gold game studios is actually a game development team, that consists of 2 people. Me(Richard) and my friend kyle. we are both learning game development and have decided to form this team. uhhm.... we do c++ with SDL, although there was a point in time, where we tried C# and XNA, also we tried the Allegro API. but we decided to go with C++//SDL. :)
