Whats up everyone!
My name is Samet and I'm fairly young (17). I live in the Netherlands, I've been with the army for 1 year and decided that it was not cut out for me :).
I've been "web developing" since I was 11 and started out with a big Dragonball Z website, which was a pain in the ass because it was all in HTML and I had to edit every single page every time!
Also my program wouldn't show me the site so I had to do it in code only. Then I decided that it was time to make things simpler and so learned other languages :D Now I'm aiming at Java, C# & C++ time will tell which one of these I will be learning first :).

For those who are lazy to read the above "Hi, I'm Samet. Whats up?"

Welcome Samet.

I'd suggest you dive into C, but you might want to read at least an introduction to each language so you can choose the one who best fits your needs.

Thanks! Both of you.
I've read about different language's and its a bit hard to decide what will be my ultimate goal. For now I will be going global and later on I'll decide which one I'll pursue :D
I've got plenty of time to learn and am not eager to learn in 10 minutes. So, I'm just gonna take it slow and eventually I will decide what suits my needs :D

Ahoy, Samet!
C/C++ is always good. C# is also good, though.

Hey everybody!
I'm Bruce. I'm 16 and I love programming. I started programming after finding Adventures in Game Development on Youtube. (That was when you guys had just uploaded Chapter 3) I've been doing some things in C++ but I've recently started learning Java for an AP Computer Science class at my high school. I'll probably get back to C++ when my Northwestern U online C++ class starts in the spring.

Hi :)
I'm 18 andI have a stupid real name, so I'd rather not say it. I'm an artist currently near enough at industry standard in terms of 3D/next-gen/current-gen graphics, but I'm also trying to learn C++. At the moment I know the basics and not much else. I also know HTML, but that doesn't really count. I have always been invincible at any Pokemon game since I was born.

This reads like Programmers Anonymous, or something.

Hello, Bruce, hypermodel, and hi even though I already know you, YenTex formerly Raiden. =)

Hello,
I'm Marek (en. Marcus?) and I'm 17 years old. I live in a fairly small town in Poland and the name wouldn't tell you anything. I made my first C "Hello world" program 2 years ago, but wasn't programming frequently before 2008. I got some basics of C from my brother and learned a lot from online guides. Then I grabbed a C++ book and started to get into it for real. I also came across Java and C# but I mostly stuck to C/C++. Only got into game programming a few months ago, started with SDL. My biggest achievements are: some sort of an OS booted with GRUB (called it SnakeOS; supported keyboard input and some memory management), a translator in Java (based on CSV files), a reminder also in Java (and also based on CSV files) and some poorly-written CMS game-like thing (lol, no way to describe it :P) in C++ and SDL (runs on Linux only). Working on a 2D game engine in C++ at the moment.

Atleast say "hi"! :)

Excuse me for my bad English if you find any mistakes... I'm still learning.

Your English is up to par with, if not even better than, mine and it is the only language I am fluent in. ;)
