Well , me and a few friends are gonna work on a game similar to GoldenEye 007 for N64.
Unlike that one however we will be doing it for Windows PC.
Using either DirectX9 or SFML.
I am currently re-learning c++ and learning LUA for the (c++ for engine, LUA for in game scripting)

Oh, and it's with Allegro

true... true... but it is not as general. If anyone plans to, after gaining more skills, develop games with more elements in a team, convincing others to accept Scheme as the game's programming language might be hard. Unless you're the only programmer in the project. Then it's up to you ;D

No, why would it be?
If it is your first game with graphics, it can be a little hard to get into the system.
I know I had a hard time getting to know how to use the SDL library to blit images to the screen and control them :P

In my free time, I have been making additions and edits to my current iOS app called, "ATO Theta Pi" Which if you haven't figured it out by now is an app streamlined for fraternity communication internally and externally. Anyways, as of last night I got some native C code running on the Android emulator via NDK and JNI (Java Native Interface). Although this is a small step, I hope to have the app ported to Android devices within the next month, as soon as I get some free time ;) .

*Also, if you would like to download my iOS app, it is free, just search "theta pi" in the App Store. It should run on atleast iPod/iPhone(s) running higher than 3.0
