Hello everyone.
My name is Jesse, I'm 14, and I just recently started learning c++ (I've been watching AntiRTFM's tutorials for about 2 weeks now)
I learned a bit of python when I was 13.
BTW Please don't label me as an arrogant prick because of my age, just ticks me off when people label me as the young arrogant person stereotype.

Lol. I think most people stereotype 13 year olds as ignorant overzealous newbs, moreso than arrogant or prick-like (When I was 12, I remember thinking the older people were that way, though).
I will refrain from making such assumptions, though. Welcome.

Hey!
My name is Alex, I'm 16 and from Austria ( thats in Europe ).
Currently I'm working on a projekt in C++ with SDL.
Before C/C++ i've coded in PureBasic and VisualBasic.
I've started (game)programming with 11 - but I've always had the problem with beeing motivated - so I've never finished most of my projects.
At the moment I'm working on a 2D platformer like Megaman. So nothing special
I've been reading the forums now and then - just wanted to say "Hey" finally ;D

Hey all! Names Henri, im 16 and living in the UK. Been learning and playing around with C++ for a few months now, on and off, loving it and hoping to continue
To create my own game is something I've wanted to do from a very young age, so hopefully i'll eventually be able to move on from learning the core language and start with a graphics library and such. So yea, hello to you all.

Agreed, I'm 14 too and that completely pisses me off. Especially since to most of the people who I regularly talk to disagree with me being ignorant, arrogant... And well... A prick.AntiMatter wrote:Hello everyone.

Re: Official "Hello, World! (I'm new!)" thread
Hello my names Duncan and I am 16 years old. My first real program was a calculator which was made around the age of 10 written in VB.
I just began learning C++ a year ago and have made several horrible games. None of which are original. My current project is probably over way over my head at the moment but I am managing. Anyways, just saying high.

Re: Official "Hello, World! (I'm new!)" thread
So: "Hello world, I'm new"
My Name is Nils Ole Timm and I'm from germany. I am 19 years of age and been programming for some years.
I generally write in C# but am changing to C++ recently to escape the limitations of Microsoft.
My first program was a small adventure game written in Turbo Pascal when I was 8, I had helped with that however and did not get what was going on back then.
The first thing I wrote all by myself was some sort of fireworks screensaver when I was 11 or something I think.
