I could care less and I don't know why, but I trust you with what you do with the money. Just hearing your complaints and issues you've had along the way and how you seem to handle them match up with what I'd expect my friends to do, so I oddly trust you guys.

I vote to know. I mean, I trust you Falco, but I want to be certain (You did say you were pretty shady at some point in the past) It doesn't really matter, I'll donate regardless.
The reason I want to know is, for example, If you guys get like $1,000 donations from this request, you best be SURE to a get $1,000 fucking camera (or close to it); it makes sense. Or I'll hunt you down FALCO, I'll hunt you DOWN! and get my MONEY BACK like this: SHIT HAPPENS hahha

I also trust Falco, but I'm curious to know how generous everybody is

Re: Elysian Shadows: Next Video and Camera Donations
I will say that assuming everybody gives what they have submitted (if you gave me a range, I took the average), and we want the previously mentioned camera, we should stop now.
I'm at about $215 in proposed donations.

If there's a bit extra I'm sure Marcel wouldn't mind a $12 kb. Anything further would probably need to go to webserver cost.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

Wait, are we still paying to store Falco's extensive porn collection online? That's more political campaign money than dinky little forum friend money.

Oh I was thinking caffiene and whatnot... Donuts for peter, and 33 cent burritos, my diet at my dad's house conists of those burritos, frozen waffles, frozen corndogs, soda, and everything sugary in the houseMarauderIIC wrote:If there's a bit extra I'm sure Marcel wouldn't mind a $12 kb. I was thinking we'd aim for one of those super expensive ass cameras...The 8OO+ HD things. Beautifu1 sound and video...And no rea1 worry about getting too much.
A1so, we'11 be sure to post when we've reached the goa1 and gotten new camera.

So, will chapter 16 come before or after you get the new camera? I know it would make sense to wait, but if you are going to go for a more expensive camera, then it'll probably take a few more weeks, especially since some people might not pay all that they've submitted, and I'm not sure your subscribers will want to wait.

Re: Elysian Shadows: Next Video and Camera Donations
We've waited longer I believe... plus it sounds like they've got a lot done/filmed from what Falco/MaruaderIIC keep mentioning.

I want to see XxStillAVirgin69xX again and make peter drink something grossGyroVorbis wrote:Our next video is going to be something different. For those of you who don't know, we are looking into upgrading our shitty ass little camera that we have been using since Chapter 8. It is no longer sufficient (video or audio) for the kind of quality that we would like from our videos. When Youtube upped their resolution and made it support widescreen, that pretty much put the last nail in the camera's coffin.
So this is the plan: We are going to be taking donations in return for doing something in our videos. You tell us how much you want to donate along with what you would like us to do. It can be anything, and we mean that. You want us to cover the particle system? Okay. You want Peter to drink something gross? Okay. Want another XxStillAVirgin69xX segment? Okay.
So far we have:
trufun - showcase our old pre-ES projects (very good one)
one of Peter's stupid friends - jump off the roof
I'm not guaranteeing that we will do anything you ask, that's why it's a request. We aren't going to release code or a demo or anything ridiculous. But you don't donate the money until we do it. I'm getting on Kleithap to get the donation button and request form up now.
But i can't donate because I live in Brazil...
...unless u know a cheap way to send my donation to u
My english sucks!

Re: Elysian Shadows: Next Video and Camera Donations
Okay, for those of you who requested physics explained: I was originally going to record this today, but there's just not enough time. I've done nothing but record, edit, and assemble these videos all day, today. I also decided that physics will be a separate video (part of the education series) so that I can put enough effort into it. I want to make sure that it's useful.
Unfortunately this means that it won't be released today with the rest. What you will be getting at midnight:
Donations and Edjukation Part 1
Donations and Edjukation Part 2
Adventures in Game Development Chapter 15.5
Team Elysian Shadows: Previous Projects Part 1
Team Elysian Shadows: Previous Projects Part 2
The Virgin Monologues.
Now sweet Jesus, I need a break.
