Anything related in any way to game development as a whole is welcome here. Tell us about your game, grace us with your project, show us your new YouTube video, etc.
I really like the kaleidoscope entry. I've always loved games with abstract artwork and (sometimes) ambient music like that. Games like loco roco, patapon, katamari damacy. The artwork in those games is really unique and the music adds to the effect
and by the way did you know you're reading my signature?

From their latest video:
Lol...wow. It does kinda look like Falco though...................
MarauderIIC wrote:You know those people that are like "CHECK IT OUT I just made Linux run on this piece of celery [or other random object]!!"? Yeah, that's Falco, but with ES.
Dear god, they actually ported ES to a piece of celery!

meh.. its not like falco and em(sorry i dont know who all "em" is, not trying to paint falco as the sole proprietor) didnt make a little demo of them in a gay club.
all's fair in love and war.
Some person, "I have a black belt in karate"
Dad, "Yea well I have a fan belt in street fighting"
I can't say that I care too much. Their latest video was a bunch of flashing "screenshots" for a product they clearly don't have. No gameplay footage?
So they went from greatest indie game ever, to decent little mini shooter, to this. Am I seeing a trend?
What we want to do with Elysian Shadows goes way above and beyond having bitchfights with a bunch of kiddie pricks who can't even finish a game with XNA.
Programmer: we're falling behind schedule on the game, I hit a technical snag again...
Manager: really? again?, we were really pushing for a video this month, didn't you film a single scene where you change an argument in a function before you broke the game again?
Programmer: nope, camera ran out of film, damn!
Manager, hey! did you do some more pointless posing and concept art?
Artist: nope.
PR Guy: then this calls for desperate measures! we're losing subscribers, perhaps we could be douchebags to another development team again?
Manager: that sort of backfired on us last time, didn't it?
PR Guy: bad publicity is still publicity, let's do it!!!!!!!1111!1!!1!!
Long story short, they're using this as 'Filler' as they have nothing else to show

I think I can program pretty well, it's my compiler that needs convincing!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And now a joke to lighten to mood :D
I wander what programming language anakin skywalker used to program C3-PO's AI back on tatooine? my guess is Jawa :P

Umm, have you not seen their video about how their "token gangster black guy" bought a Snuggie? Geez, that's the premium content!
dandymcgee wrote:They're just being competitive (video-wise, certainly not product-wise). I think it's somewhat amusing.
Competitive video-wise would be "Check out our newest implementations! Aren't they neat? Try to beat that!" not "hurp durp he want people to call him a video game character aint he weird!??!" They legitimately still think Falco isn't his birth given name.
I haven't been keeping up with events (at all) & haven't even seen their latest video...but my primary response is "about goddamned time!"
It was over a full year ago that we said "time to stop talking shit, & let your GAME talk shit." So, its taken them this long to develop something far enough along to "get even" with? Lulz.
Programmerinprogress, rofl!!!
<qpHalcy0n> decided to paint the office, now i'm high and my hands hurt

Man, I certainly hope you don't deem their videos worthy of competition against ours. We work sleepless nights to have actual content to present in our videos (which is why you haven't seen us in months). If you guys thought a couple random screenshots and some shit-talking was Youtube quality, we would be at Adventures in Game Development Chapter 99 by now.
