System.out.println("Hello, World!");
cout << "Hello, World!" << end;
printf("Hello, World!");
Whichever you prefer ;)

Hi, my name is Jacob and I'm from the US. I'm 14 and I've been goofing off with programming for a few years.
I mainly program in Java but occasionally I use C++.

Welcome Jacob =D. I don't think there are many Java programmers around (I may be wrong though). =p.

You did better than me.. I assumed maybe it was an alternative print function in C# or something, lol.

Hello, my name is Josh and I am an alcoholic.
Helloo Josh.

I have been programming for almost a year now and have got a pretty good knowlege of C++ and languages in general. I think the reason I wanted to develop and design games was my chain-playing of Sonic the Hedgehog at a young age. Seeing GyroVorbis's videos and Sonic GL kind of triggered it all off.

I am a very quick learner and want to make a good well known game someday. I can be very funny at times but don't cross me 'cause I can get rabbid like a wild dog! :evil:

Anyway, thanks for the forums and I plan on being on here alot, helping people and being helped.

Thanks!

PS: I'm not new to these forums... I had another account but I would rather forget about my noobish past, not to mention I forgot it's password. Good riddance to it actually ^^

Hahaha, same :lol:

I'm also here because I find it fun to help people and to converse with real game developers where you can learn something new. It's also a bit fun to make yourself well known in the game development community ^_^

Also, I see your almost at the rank of a Chaos Rift Regular... bravo :bow:

Hey guys. Just wanted to say hello. I just found out about this forum from a fellow YouTuber. I am working on a 2D beat-em-up style game engine (i.e. Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, Final Fight, etc.), which you can take a look at here: http://www.youtube.com/user/candygameengine

I've been working on this thing in some form or another for a few years now. I've had some recent time to work on it recently, so it's progressing quite nicely. My initial goal for this game engine was to do a 2D version of a Shenmue-type game, and I think I may actually be able to pull that off still. One short term goal, however, is just to churn out some quick, fun joke games.

Anyway, hope to chat with you all on this forum soon.

Cheers.
