i tryed to play PSO today and the file was corrupted. well after playing for almost 509 hours...i wasn't very happy. since then i have almost broke my foot, thrown and broke one of my controllers.

anyway i have decided to not let that ever happen to another one of my games. so i gona buy a USB memory card or try to make one. i have seval spare USB cords..1 and 2 .. and a few practice cards.

if anyone can help with the making please post here.

becuase of this i have finnaly had it with my cube and it's sub-parness. i have decided to save up for a seX-Box 360. and when i get it i will go to the nearest cliff and throw my cube over. you are all welcome to attend.

Screw that, I got a BBA for my birthday.

I've been playing PSO as it should be: ONLINE.

It's so funny. I walk around telling people I'll piss in their mouths. I get my ass kicked alot though... :(

You do realize that with all of the time that you spent playing Lame-Cube (only counting that game), you could have learned C++? That's right. You could have EASILY read Sam's Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days Volume 6, and with the extra 27 or so hours you could have started SDL Deving and created a game or demo. By just using all the wasted time on Lame-Cube, you could know more C++ than me.

Oh, and Sam's wouldn't cramb so much info into your head that you must spend hours practicing. 21 days means KNOW C++; it gives millions of programs and tests to write at the end of each day that would EASILY be enough to FULLY TEACH you. And it's not extra stuff; it's included in the 21 days of learnage.

What a waste of your life... :nono:

LOL You can't just hook a USB cable up and expect it to work. IIRC the Gamecube memory card interface is based on SD cards.

You could probably just buy a memory card reader/writer for the PC or use the BBA somehow.

naw i didn't leave forever....just for the summer. my dad has dial up and is using a trillion year old laptop. so needless to say i didn't do much of anything on the computer this summer, or i would have attempted to learn C, as i have it first block this semester.

I hope you don't think you'll be making games after you take C programming.

That class'll officially allow you to make... shit.

509 hours on a single game in a few year period? I doubt I'd know much programming either.

I cannot believe you didn't at LEAST make one copy of your file. No offence, but to put that much time into something and have nothing to show is kinda sad.

Again, with all the time wasted, you could already be up and making games. Pity, wouldn't you say?

You can't copy your files in PSO.
SEGA made it that way to prevent item duping.
The same can be said about double-saving, a thing they added to the GC version for online players. It's been reported to be the source of tons of corrupted files, fans have begged SEGA to take it out since it lost it's purpose sometime last year when some players discovered a new duping method that can be easily performed offline as well. It even allows you to max out your stats by level 1!
So basically, the old method which SEGA added the patch to prevent isn't used at all. The new duping method doesn't require a BBA and can't be patched.

Nice going SEGA.
