Sometimes it hits me that I am capable of particularly good writing.
The last of the four is my favorite, and is really the point. The first few are so you can get used to the style.

Yeah, I know, Xylene. Cookie. Other than that, comments, questions?In MrAdventure, I wrote: [ N E D ]
The Hall of Immortals
The whitewashed walls of this grand hall extend seemingly
forever upwards. The floor, painted with a mural depicting
lightning and stars, contains a dim reflection of all above
it, giving the room a feeling of enormous depth.
A hallway extends northward into the distance, and a lone
sturdy-looking mahogany door, polished to a bright sheen, is
mounted in a doorframe on the eastern wall.

Skyrunner's Office
A mahogany desk faces the door, with a small plaque
bearing the name "Skyrunner" sitting atop it. A
rather cushy chair rests behind it, occasionally occupied
by the lone programmer when he's online. The room
itself fades from the whitewash near the door to a
deep, rich blue behind the desk, so subtle that the
difference is only perceptible by comparing the
colors at either end of the room.
A pad lies on the desk, used for leaving messages.

Stairway
The theme song from the Carmen Sandiego game show,
performed by Rockapella, eminates from an indeterminate
source in this odd room.
A strange-looking sign hovers in a circular
fashion around the center of this room,
while rotating on all of its axes.
Upon closer inspection, it's revealed that
even though the sign is rotating crazily,
the arrow painted on it in cheap black
paint is always facing the staircase that
is against the eastern wall of this room.
The black letters, when they face a readable
direction, spell out "Immortal Hall".
Something has blown a hole in the western end of the lobby.

Through the Hole
A monotonic white expanse envelops your
field of vision. To the north, the outside
skeleton of the immortal hall is visible,
a stark contrast to the brilliant void that
pervades the rest of this space. The glaringly
blank expanse extends in every direction,
enveloping everything. The floor is visible only
by the stark shadows created by a brilliant,
yet sourceless, illumination.
Numbness is all that exists in this expanse.
No beings belong here.
A number of Bob the Builder Mk II robots,
stripped of their programming by the void,
make absolutely no progress on the hole
in the wall.
