I just thought I'd post this commercial for Half-Life DC that was originally posted by http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... =dreamcast at the DCEmulation forums.

Maybe you guys will find it interesting. I think it's darn tight. Too bad it wasn't ever officially released...

I like the Dreamcast... it's thinking...

Does the DC think too much?

I have a Halo 2 commercial I made for economics class... unfortunately it's ~120 MB and quicktime.

Edit: It's pretty good though. I'm proud of it.

Yes, but you can still acquire it on the internet.

It also has the best graphics of any version (until they recently rereleased it on PC). It looks better than the Playstation 2, and has additional features.

I nearly beat it on Dreamcast. The loadtimes are kinda shitty, because it was incomplete, but it supports mouse and keyboard, and looks very damn nice on the VGA, so I went ahead and started playing it.

i played it for a while, just annoys me how u have to walk so slow, because the game likes to throw instant deaths out around every corner

God I hated that game. I couldn't finish it. Barely got through Half Life 2 for that matter.

But they both have/had some great mods.

I got tired of playing Doom 3 for a similar reason -- it was almost more effective to walk backwards, and I hated stupid pointless alcoves that opened up after you cleared an area. The coop mode was more what I was looking for. (I hear it becomes better after you get into Hell but I just simply couldn't manage to make myself play that far.)

I thought it was a fun kickback to the days of Doom itself, but nothing too deep or amazing.

The original dooms were better imo, more action and shooting :)

Doom 98 and Wolvenstein 3d, HELL YEAH BABY!

Btw, the link to your Halo movie isn't working--it redirects me to that site's main page, and from there I can't find it. =/
