So how does it feel to know that Sony wants you to pay $200 extra for a Blu-Ray player for gaming when dual-layer would work just fine and there's more support for the HD-DVD by movie companies. If HD-DVD wins the format wars then you will have paid an extra $200 for something you can't even use. At least Microsoft let's you wait and see if HD-DVD is going to catch on before spending the projected $100 on the HD-DVD player attachment.
Blu-Ray not relevant to gaming.

1) Thanks for telling us something we already know? Blu-Ray has never been touted as a "Great Gaming Accessory"--it's a movie format.skywalker541 wrote:http://ozymandias.com/archive/2006/07/1 ... 3F00_.aspx

2) Blu-Ray has just as much, if not more support than HD-DVD. Stop pulling bullshit from your ass.
3) I don't mind paying 200 dollars for something I will use. The PS3 is going to be the cheapest blu-ray player out, and since Blu-Ray will be the eventual succesor of DVD and HD-DVD for size abilities alone, I'm willing to go with Blu-Ray, even if it is a bit risky. If HD-DVD wins, oh well, by the time that's decided players will be cheap enough that it won't matter much.
4) Stop trying to bash the PS3. People who like it aren't going to have their minds changed by your inane, biased, and overall pointless articles posting. Seriously, I don't bash the 360, I don't continually posting "OMG LOOK WHAT THE 360 DID WRONG NOW!" Just stop it. When the PS3 comes out then you can bash it all you want if it fails or whatever. Until then, you're not only speculating on something you could not possibly foresee (Europeans are known for paying retarded amounts for technology, as is the Japanese populace who also supports the PS3 quite well right now, though the US seems to be the weakest point for the PS3, it's not by much from what I can tell). Get over yourself, and remove your penis from the 360's slot drive.
