General Information

The new GTA game will be called Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
The new GTA game will be released on October 19th in USA and October 22nd in the UK and Europe.
The new GTA game will be Sony PlayStation2 Exclusive.

Characters

In the new GTA game you play as Carl Johnson.
Characters from the past will return.

The City / Map

The game will take place in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
The three cities from above will be named Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Ventura in the game.
Each city is the same size as Vice City.
The entire game will be about Four to Six times bigger than Vice City!
San Fierro will contain hills and will be more driving based.
You can drive from Los Santos, through the countryside, up a mountain and into San Fierro, then onto Las Ventura.
Driving through the desert will be vibrant and alive with weird things to see.

Buildings

There will be a lot more buildings with open interiors.

Graphics

The graphics engine has been tweaked. Smog will be present in LA, and real-time reflections on cars, windows, and mirrors, as well as new techniques like radial lighting, which allows for more realistic shadowing, and soft-shadow lighting for interior levels will be present.

GamePlay

The game will have rag-doll physics, or “impact animation” in Rockstar's words
In the Las Ventura city, you will be able to buy and build a casino and then run it.
You can then gamble your money in the casino.
**You need to eat to retain your stamina. If you eat too much fast food, you become fat and pedestrians mock you for being fat. You also run slower. **To remedy this, you can go to a gym to exercise.
You can now rob homes. The robberies will require skill and planning, however.
You can recruit gang members and use them to do four person drive-by’s.

Weapons

Your character can dual wield pistols and potentially other weapons.
The choice of weapons will match the weapons of the early 90's.
Vehicles
There will be pimped-out lowriders, and 90’s versions of some GTA3/VC cars will return.
There will be bicycles.

Artificial Intelligence

Enemy/pedestrian AI will be greatly revamped and they will think more logically. You can't beat someone to death in broad daylight and not have people notice and react.
Your enemies will be smarter, which will make robbing houses take a lot of skill.

Music

There will be a rap station, but there will be a variety of other stations as always.

I still think many hamm sammiches will be featured somewhere.

I don't know but you ass. Where does it mention hamm sambiges? (a respectable mix of hamm sammich and ham sambige)(witch was the true classic)(wow this has a lot of parenthesis!) I mean who ever heard of perenthesis inside parenthesis?

Depending on how you look at it, that could be a Ham Sambige. So, they are like all in there.

Arce, I will bet you five hundred copperz that there is no hamm sambiges in this entire game!

I'd rather it be rap then punk. Atleast rap is funny.



Anyway, I can't wait to see Grand Theft Auto with the Havok Engine (rag-doll, impact animation, whatever). It'll be like a free roaming-hiphop-Max Payne without slo-mo (which was cool, but if you play it too much it gets annoying.)


And by the way, I don't get this hamm sammich thing. Why is it so funny?

Dude this game may be fun to some people (not me) But It is not in ANY way cool. This may be one of the greatest dissappointments since Tony Hawks Underground! All it is is going around what the fuk nigga! Gimme some pot bich! It is the most gangsta game on the planet!

Watch were you throwin yo coppa'z fool. Everyone I've talked to says its teh best GTA eva, except for the lenght.

I hate the whole GTA franchise.

At first, it was fun. I always like to randomly beat people up and stuff. But now it just promotes drugs and sex too much. People are actually doing the stuff in those games. I hate "gangstas" and I hate everything about them.

Go buy Poke'mon Fire Red or Leaf Green and don't waste your time with this garbage.

How dair you say a mear pokemon game is better than Grand Theft Auto!!! The two new ones are just pitiful remakes of the Blue and Red! Even for a gameboy game it sucks! The graphics are still pitifull and it has the same old stupid story!

Hrmm.... after carefull analysis..... i have come to the conclusion that both games suck. Too bad.

They don't suck! You just don't like them because in the back of your mind it is saying "They are for kids. If you like them everyone at school would laugh at you." and yes San Andreas is sucky JUST BECAUSE IT IS GANGSTA! I actually really liked vice city because it was fun and non-ganxta! Everyone is just saying it is cool because it IS ganxta! because Gangsta is popular right now!
