It doesn't look very reliable to me.
# Play all reagion DVD movies on your Wii Console
# Launch copied / backup GameCube mini DVDs
# Play free roms on Wii Virtual Console
# Use unlicensed homebrew applications and games
And that's why I still fucking hate Nintendo and Wii. So are you telling me that the whole time the damn thing could've played DVDs or at least some sort of disc-media, but Nintendo is too gay to let us?

Fuck Nintendo, fuck Wii, fuck that. I've had enough.

I'm not looking forward to anything this next generation. You're paying for a Gamecube with a fancy controller. Most Wii games look bad by Gamecube standards. Yeah, Nintendo reporting that they make $50 per console sold is believable. They're ripping the fuck off of us. I don't mind innovation, but I still want next gen. This is just Gamecube with a fancy controller.

How can you bitch about the PS3 price when they're being sold at a deficit while Nintendo is milking an extra $50 from us for every purchase of the Gamecube++?

I don't know, I'm not impressed by anything. I'm sticking with my PS2 until the very last goddamned game comes out.

Actually, homebrew is innately supported by Nintendo (there's already a scene forming up), and they're talking about doing a firmware upgrade to let you play DVDs, which is iirc the only thing stopping it.

Pointless modding.

If Nintendo doesn't make their fucking Wii play DVDs, I'm going to go burn a Gamecube. That's how mad I am.

The only reason they have dvd play off is because of crazy licensing fees. I'll live with that and use my other DVD player instead of buying a more expensive wii with dvd capabilities.

I'll live without a Wii and just use a Gamecube instead of paying 4x the amount for the same thing with a fancy controller.

Just the other day you seemed to love the Wii. Which is it?

The hype, and the fact that the only good game for it so far is TP, wore off. I'll live without it until SSB:B comes out, as well.

I got over it quickly. I was the exact same way with the DS. It's the fancy controller and touchscreen that gets me excited as hell, then I realize it's just gimmicky and there's no real meat to the system.

Don't get me wrong, I have a DS Lite and I love it. I'm referring to the DS at the beginning of its lifecycle. You had the DS and you had Mario 64 for DS (which was better on N64). That's it. I went crazy at first, but then I realized it had almost no good games.

The Wii can still earn its respect, but after I got over the controller, I really start to see beyond the veil. I am pissed as hell at the Wii for its specs. I can't tell you how disappointed I am.

It's a Gamecube with a few other fancy functions and a controller. I can grow to love it if the games turn out amazing, or I can grow to hate it with the same burning hate that I have against Gamecube times a million.

I don't think Nintendo put enough into the Wii to call it nextgen. I'm not a graphics whore, but those specs are... pathetic. Twilight is the BEST looking game by FAR, and it's just a straight up Gamecube game.

In all seriousness, current-gen PS2 games look better than the "so called" nextgen games coming out for the Wii. That's not tight.
