And I'm really enjoying it. 3d modeling is really fun and I could see myself doing it as a career. It's like digital sculpting :D! Hopefully if anyone here starts learning how to program 3d games I can do some modeling help.
So anyways, here's my first modeling job. The cd is kinda crappy I know, but we had to have 3 items and 95% of the time was obviously spent on the Wiimote.

So I started learning Maya

It depends on what you prefer. Maya is like digital sculpting. Zbrush is a weird hybrid between digital sculpting and painting. 3dsmax is more math based. Overall I'd say maya is the easiest though. It's pretty user friendly. It takes a certain amount of raw talent though. A lot of people in my class simply couldn't do it, and mine was the best. Those very same people owned me when it came to painting though lol. I hate 2d surfaces.
