I almost got suspended for messaging the whole school system

I did. This is a recollection of a horrifying day, and a hell of a lesson I learned. I'm still thanking god.
It started off as a normal day in C programming. I was trying to find a way that my friend and I could communicate since messengers can't be installed. Then I found it: Net Send in the dos console.
Net send is a simple messaging program built into almost every windows platform. It simply relays a message throughout the local area network.
Well, I tried to do that. I knew there was always a possibility it'd go wrong, so my message was: Hello everybody. Have a nice day and god bless.
So, I push enter. The dos console says: Message sent. I knew something was wrong, because my friend never got it. Then I heard the teacher's PC beep. I immediately closed the dos console and nearly pissed myself. I sat there for what seemed like 5 seconds. The teacher phone rang and she picked it up. All that I could make out were these words:
Message
sent
whole school district.
That's right. I sent that message to the whole school district. Later I went back and did a Net View revealing that over 5000+ teacher computers recieved it.
I just decided to post it here. I was posting when all of a sudden my mouse started moving. I knew what was happening. The admin had taken control of my mouse. I saw it slowly ease over to log off. She was going to check my username! I did what I had to do. I kicked the computer plug hard and fast out of the socket.
That bought me some time. About 30 mins later, an administrator enters the room and finds my computer number. We had this private little talk. It started at me being suspended for 4 days.
Then, because god had pity on my mortal soul, this happened.
Since I wasn't at school on the first day when NO send net was discussed, it wasn't in my syllabus, and the student handbook didnt' cover it, I got off the hook.
you guys think I'm telling you a load of shit don't you. You don't believe me.
I want you to do this for proof.
Open your DOS console and type in:
That will relay "hi!" to everybody on your LAN. If you aren't on a network, do it anyway, you'll recieve the message as well.
So, what do you think about this experience?
