Elysian Shadows

Does anyone know of a good terrain art tutorial? And yes, I've tried google, but with no success. I need to start making tiles for a mario bros. clone I'm making. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You could check out Gas13, http://gas13.ru/v3/tutorials/sywtbapa_a ... s_tile.php he uses grass as an example, but you could apply similar logic to other types of terrain.
