I was sitting at work, and I seriously laughed out loud when I read this:

A Douglas County District Court judge on Tuesday tossed out Chambers' lawsuit against God. But the senator from Omaha said he may appeal the decision.
Judge Marlon Polk said Chambers can't sue God if he can't serve papers on him.
Chambers filed the lawsuit in September 2007. It sought a permanent injunction to prevent God from committing acts of violence such as tornadoes and earthquakes.
Chambers has said he's trying to make a point that anybody can sue anybody and that laws shouldn't restrict so-called frivolous lawsuits.
Chambers said state senators periodically have offered bills prohibiting the filing of certain types of suits. He said his main objective is that the constitution requires that the doors to the courthouse be open to all.
"Thus anybody can file a lawsuit against anybody -- even God," Chambers said in 2007.
The lawsuit accuses God "of making and continuing to make terroristic threats of grave harm to innumerable persons, including constituents of Plaintiff who Plaintiff has the duty to represent." It says God has caused "fearsome floods, egregious earthquakes, horrendous hurricanes, terrifying tornadoes, pestilential plagues, ferocious famines, devastating droughts, genocidal wars, birth defects and the like."
He disagreed with the judge's order, saying that since God knows everything God had notice of the lawsuit.
Chambers has 30 days to decide whether to appeal the decision.
