So...Has anyone here bought fable 2 yet?....You have? Really? Well are you as pissed off as I am? Co-Op was pretty awesome huh? It's really cool how you can show off your gear and unique character while playing in another friends world isn't it...oh, wait..you can't do that? Silly me...I was confused about what Molyneux promised and what actually happened to me last night while playing. But at least it's still fun to play with a friend in co-op right?...What? You mean that's not fun either? Are you serious? Your friend actually said he'd rather play by himself for awhile because the camera was getting in the way and just making everything miserable? Now that I think about it I remember that happening to me too. Well....Fable is really a single player RPG anyway isn't it? I mean it's really all about the story and unique character development, right? Wait a sec...Am I hearing you right? The story in fable 2 sucked too? You didn't think it was cool how all you had to do to kill the main boss was pull the left trigger? Come on. What are you some kind of fable troll?


I could go on and on? But I already know why i hate this sorry excuse for a piece of shit that I was conned into buying. And I also know just how deeply my passionate loathing for this man they call Molyneux is. I would just like to know if anyone else shares my sentiments. Please post with your latest fable 2 experience and opinion.

My roommate (Tyler) got it. I've seen him play on and off, but I haven't gotten the opportunity to play it. I'll have to ask what he said. But sounds like it's a let down like Fable 1 then...

I would have to agree when I first herd the game was only 12 hours long I was disappointed but after playing the game and finding it boring I am glad it was a short game. I didn't like the story and I didn't like any of the side missions and gambling stuff that they said would make it such a great game, glad I rented and didn't buy.

Gonna have to disagree with you there, I got the game on friday and I absolutely love it. It's better better than the original in every concievable way. The combat's fun, the story's deep and engrossing. The voice acting's brilliant (especially the main characters). There's so much depth to the game, with the property buying, the side quests, the jobs and the social interaction. As for the co-op, it could have been better. but I really didn't buy the game for that.

So yeah, a definite thumbs up from me. I'm going to be playing it for a very long time.

It wouldn't surprise me if Fable 2 was a bit of a let down, mr molyneux has a way with making things sound better than they are, and overpromising...

I have to admit i'm biased, I waited 2 years for his last flop, The Movies!

That game was complete shell of what it should have been, I was very disapointed after all of the hype, I bought it on release, back in '05

Although, i've read some reviews, and i've heard good things about this game, is it really not any good?

You know, if Oblivion hadn't already come out and been Fable 2 ++, and if Fallout 3 hadn't have just dropped, I might say it was a deep game.

It's okay, but it's nothing special (especially not the story from what I understand). The sidequests are neat, but christ Oblivion GotY gives you like 200 hours of in-game playtime with main quest + sides, and that's not including just fucking around (which is easy to do on that game).

Yeah, I love giving the guards the runaround, and sneaking out of jail... I just wished they worked on the NPC voices a little more, more voices would have been nice.

I need to re-install it!
