Getting started

Okay I have this program I've been using for a long time called Sothink SWF Quicker.
For those of you who are wondering what the hell this is it's a flash video creating program.
I need help on how to get started with learning actionscript to help me with my video development.
Its a scripting language.
Where can I find any sources on the net to teach me how to get started?
Also does this deserve to even be in the programming discussion? Though it is for movies and not games you "do" require the knowledge of scripting and basic programming to create complex videos.
