I just barely started as we speak. Thus far it looks really cool and I think the battle system on it is pretty crazy (in a good way).
Are any of you getting it?
I also love how you can "actually" choose what you want to do. Every conversation I have you have about 4 options to take.

Re: Just Got Sonic Chronicles
I've been meaning to get that actually... but I just picked up Chrono Trigger as I've never played before(Genesis boy growing up) so I don't want to have to many RPGs, but throw up a review when you get far enough... I'd like to support Sega on this if they didn't screw it up.
I lovvve choosing conversations... usually it only has a 50/50 affect, but I still feel like I'm special for choosing what I want to say.

Dear god, they actually ported ES to a piece of celery!MarauderIIC wrote:You know those people that are like "CHECK IT OUT I just made Linux run on this piece of celery [or other random object]!!"? Yeah, that's Falco, but with ES.

Sounds like real life.Trask wrote:I lovvve choosing conversations... usually it only has a 50/50 affect, but I still feel like I'm special for choosing what I want to say.
On a related tack, try using deliberate thought on real life conversations and see how much that changes things for you.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.

Ohh damn! I played it raw last night. I have noticed that they have added in a whole ton of shit from the sonic comics. They have swat bots and the Metropolis zone from the comics. They made a very good battle system. You can apparently raise chaos and put them in your party to boost your characters attacks.Trask wrote:I've been meaning to get that actually... but I just picked up Chrono Trigger as I've never played before(Genesis boy growing up) so I don't want to have to many RPGs, but throw up a review when you get far enough... You have a large group of people for your party. You have
Sonic (No duh, you have to have him in your party >_<)
Amy
Rouge
Tails
Knuckles
Big (fat shit cat)
Cream
Shadow
Robotnik (Eggman, Or Julian) whatever you want to call him. It annoys me that he has so many names. Also he isn't in a robot this time
and a newfangled Character called Shade
The music so far is remixes from all of the old sonic games like sonic 3d blast and sonic cd
I would like to tell you more but, I don't want to ruin it. Thus far I'd give it a 9/10 really worth it.

...
I want to hate this game so badly, because I don't like the cutesy art style and kiddie-ish look, but damn, it actually sounds good.

Bioware for the fucking win. Working for them would be my dream job for sure.
