Getting around ISP filter.

This is seriously pissing me off. I can't download movies, porn, TV shows, or anything. I cannot torrent--period, because our ISP has sold out.
They are checking file against some sort of hash table of known "warez" and flagging users who are downloading these. It's not exactly a sophisticated method, but I want those files, goddamnit.
I know that on the server side you could rename the file and change it somehow to not match their table (and change the checksums). But what the hell can you do on my end? Does anybody know if there's any way in hell to mask incoming data like that?

Tell your bt app to only allow encrypted connections. That way the ISP can't make heads or tail on the file.
Downside is I've heard ISP throttle encrypted traffic.

I'm pretty sure that I'm going to call them up, bitch them out for a good half hour, then tell them to disconnect my connection and go fuck themselves.
There is nowhere in the user agreement where it mentions that they are spying on us or giving our shit out to RIAA. This especially was not in effect when I signed up for their services, and I was not informed of these changes. That should be a lawsuit.
Mediacom is going to be losing a bunch of customers in 2009. There are some ISPS that are blocking the RIAA instead of taking it up the ass from them. I would rather support their cause.

What the fuck? Tell me that you have another broadband ISP out there, I would be so friggin pissed off. Although I don\'t know details I know that there\'s ways to bittorrent through filters through some sort of encryption.
*researches*

I hope this helps, I can\'t vouch for this as I haven\'t had to do it.

Way to be blunt.. ha.
That really sucks Falco, can't you just use a proxy (I don't know a whole about how this works, as far as your situation is concerned and I'm sure you must have tried this already?).

Too bad they probably have a clause that says they don't have to notify you xD
