Re: How do I download blitz?
That's not the right blitz, this is: http://www.blitzbasic.com/. Also, it's a whole new language, not a c++ extension, so you don't really need dev c++. You have to pay for it, but I think there's a free trial. I'm not sure, I've never used it before.

Re: How do I download blitz?
You gotta get bltz basic, which is the demo of blitzplus, just go to products, hit blitzplus demo, and you should be good to go... You can buy blitzplus or max or 3d later if u want, sorry for crappy post eatinghotpocket =]
Re: How do I download blitz?
A free demo should be available on their site, with the limitation being that you cannot compile an executable (so you can program, run your programs, etc, but you cannot send them to others without paying)
There is nothing to imply you cannot find a torrent, somewhere...

Ok, first off yes you can download the trial version, but it sucks ass. Second, if you are going to buy one get Blitz3d because it is the best one and you will need it later on. Third, if you just want blitzplus, I [Edit by administrator: might be able to give you advice on affording it through email.]

Reason: sorry, the less blatant piracy i allow on the site the less C&D's falco has to deal with later

Not true? Haha.Second, if you are going to buy one get Blitz3d because it is the best one and you will need it later on.
BlitzMax is the newest and "best"...And not everybody wants 3d? There are many features removed from BlitzPlus and no longer supported in B3d...It really depends on what you're doing, honestly. xD
However, I would agree that if you're going to pay money, you'd probably do best to buy B3d. xD
BlitzMax is too similar to C/++ for me to consider worthwhile. Why use something so damned similar when you could use the actual thing, except with better performance, speed, etc? Just my two senses.
A rather generous offer to anybody reading this topic. On behalf of anybody who benefits from it, thanks. =PThird, if you just want blitzplus, I can give you the installer.
P.S you don't need a license code, I already paid 4 it.
Also, I think this is your first post? Welcome to the forums. There's an introduction topic somewhere in general/offtopic, if you'd feel so inclined to make a post.

I never planned on buying blitz but I would definitely use the full version, I hate not being able to make executables....
Edit: Oh by the way welcome to the forums, I'm sure you will find them as intertaining and educational as I have

Yeah, I meant overall because I bought Blitzplus and now I wish I could have the 3d functions also. You are correct in your statement though.Arce wrote:BlitzMax is the newest and "best"...And not everybody wants 3d? Piracy for the sake of making your own games?
Seems odd, somehow.

Re: How do I download blitz?
Who said anything about pirating? O.o;;
I believe the discussion here was regarding the sharing of an install file.

Re: How do I download blitz?
No no no, I am not pirating anything, this is MY installer of which I PURCHASED. If this is not allowed on this site fine, but I was just trying to help some one follow their dreams.
