I'm moving out next weekend. :D

Who are you rooming with?

A couple friends, Tim and McCain. Friends of Brandon, but they're my friends, too. :P

Our other friend Alec was living with him, but lost his job and moved out while they were at work, so I'm going to move in until their lease is over in June. The we may move to Raytown or I might look for someone else to room with or whatever.

Congratz! My parents were pretty pissed when I moved out at 20. They wanted me to live at home through college.

Yeah, my parents think that I'm going to be miserable and appreciate them more once I've lived with a couple guys for four months. :P

Rent (including utilities) is like $350/mo. I have some other bills, but it adds up to just slightly over half of what my monthly income is.
Hopefully we will be able to tolerate each other pretty well, but we're all nerds and have similar interests.

Seriously, how could it be worse than living with my stepdad? :P

Oh, so I'm thinking about what sort of stuff I need to buy when I move... like stuff you don't generally share with other people or whatever.

* Food (house rules are buy your own foods)
* Shampoo, soap, toothpaste or whatever
* Laundry baskets (x2)
* Towels, washclothes

Wow, that must be nice. all that is probably about $1000 for me, and that's cheap for up here. Then again, I live by myself.

Day 1 cleaned the bathroom.

It was filthy. One of the roomies is cleaner than the other, but he gets the master bedroom and bathroom. The roomie I live next to ... oh god. Little hairs everywhere, dead rolly poleys all over the floor, the toilet was really stained, the mirror was filthy. Toilet paper everywhere.
If he keeps that up, I'm going to leave [clean] maxi pads all over the bathroom. Stick them on the ceiling. You know.
Because guys HATE anything remotely related to periods. XD


Day 2 went grocery shopping and cleaned the microwave.
All they had in their fridge was like... alcohol, pepto bismol, tortillias, cheese, and energy drinks.
I didn't really buy much in the way of groceries, just refried beans, grated cheese, pepperoni, english muffins, tea (apparently I'm the only one who drinks it), juice (strawberry-kiwi and vegetable, 'cuz I likes).

There are like no dishes, no washcloths and no garbage cans, they just use trash bags themselves. :P
Brought my keyboard over, so can play piano now. ^^o
Should be doing homework. Too lazy.

There are like no pictures hanging on any walls. I want to paint stuff like Potatoes, Hobos and Dinosaurs, frame them, and hang them up everywhere.
I also need to go to Hancock Fabrics and buy myself materials so I can make myself some curtains, since all the windows just have blinds.

Is it weird that Tim uses a Loofa and I just use good, old-fashioned manly wash rags?


ROFL, I just found a pink Loofa too. he has two of 'em!

You can yes... the admins can change your name to whatever they want!
And even change your name color too (I know I have a phpBB 3 board)

And what does Lusikka mean anyway? Is it just a name you came up with?
