Triangle Fractal

Post by Guest »

If anyone of you ever checked out my development topic, you'd know that I would like some guidence on this. As I'm sure we all know, there is a random fractal with a triangle, and inside is a triangle, dividing it into three triangles, and a triangle in those three dividing each into three, and so on. I would like to make a program that does that in blitz. I have no clue where to strat. Guidence would be nice, IF anyone had the time over all the NEStix stuff.

You know what you could of said all those things in 1 post. But any ways.

Do you know the graphics set, points for the vertices? Or did you want the triangle(s) be random.???

Hopefully, It'll be an infinant loop of triangles, so i don't know the verticies. Why do you ask?

I posted all those in differnt times, though in less than a minute period....

Anyway, can you just post a blitz program that draws a triangle?

Yeah, I want it really big so you can see the patterns in bigger and better detail, and so it can go move levels down in triangles.

I know how to draw lines. But I want to know if there's a way to color to the triangle. And Do I have to the the whole thing out of lines? That'll take a while....

I'm doing it for fun. It sounds cool. But if I must do every individual live, and cannot find a pattaern, I'M NOT DOING IT.

LOL you only need is sample lines and you can write a program in which
it draws it.

Code: Select all

 global line =" /
                            /
                          /
                        /
                      /
                    /
                  /
                /
              /
            /
          /"
but there is an easier way i forgot what it was.
