Project: Ubiquitous

Bored with the simple structure and design of my last few games in Allegro I decided to step it up a notch and try to complete something I'm 50% sure that I'm not capable of. With all of my allegro games up until now having no sound, no cross-platform capability (irregular game speed), bad gameplay, and very simple graphics In the next few weeks or so I'm looking to change all of that. :mrgreen:

Introducing Project: Ubiquitous.

Short summary of what this is about: Top-down zombie shooter. I'm not really aiming for a plot of any kind just because of the features I want to implement in the sandbox version of the game.

Even though I despise top-down games, especially yet another zombie shooter, I can't wait to see what you do with this idea.

I know, I know... The world doesn't need another top-down zombie shooter... But this is a tremendous learning experience for me because I will be attempting things I don't think I'm capable of. ;)

Plus I'll finally have something I can show of in my 'portfolio of games'.

Thanks :). If you want a better Idea of what I'm going for then look at doom 3 or some kind of horror themed game but with a top-down aspect. At least thats what I hope it turns out like.

existing or being everywhere, esp. at the same time; omnipresent.

I hope this project relates to it's name ;)

Mhhm I usually use Ubiquitous for usernames in games because of its meaning. It seems only logical to give the name to a zombie shooter due to the zombies being ubiquitous. ;)
