Rush fails Rush on Rock Band

I'm not sure how many of you are Rush fans (I fucking love them and saw them in concert last summer), but this is hilarious to Rush fans and Rock Band fans alike.

Rush guest starred in the Colbert report and had a go at their own "Tom Sawyer" backstage. I must say that they did pretty damn well for people who have never played. Geddy Lee sounded fucking awesome, I might add.

I think it was their guitarist, I mean look at him, he has no idea what he's doing.

Nope. it was Neil Peart, the greatest drummer of all time.

Hell yeah, that's my favorite song on Rock Band!

Well, that "Don't Fear the Reaper." There's a video of me doing my Will Ferrell "cowbell" impression. Needless to say, I was drunk and quite uninhibited - I didn't realize I was being filmed.

Thank god the owner of that video isn't tech savy - I think it's safe from appearing on YouTube. ;)

EDIT: Fuck it, I might as well post it on my channel. I'll see if I can get ahold of it.

Those guys are really cool and supportive. A bunch of guys here got backstage passes to see them, and they actually hung out for a while and took pictures (more than even Jimmy Buffett did, and he wants his own game!).

I've also seen lots of HMX bands unable to pass their own songs. *cough*TheMainDrag*cough*

Haha that's great! I've always wanted to see a video of a band playing their own song even since the first time I saw Through the Fire and Flames and found out the real band can't even play it that fast in their dreams. :/

Rush is awesome though. :)

My friend used to tell me that a few months ago( I usually give a shit less about drummers ), now he's telling me it's the drummer from Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Off topic: Did you know John Mayer is in the top 100 best guitarists of all time? What the fuck?
