3d modeling

i don't know where to put this subject in the forumz,
it's not a game. it's more of pc dev. than off topic. yeah..

anyways. anybody here have any good 3d modeling software or do we have and teh1337 hAxors that are good at that type of thing? i got Vue d'espirit 5 and that is some cool shit. i need to understand more about it. any tips out there would be welcome. and gyrovorbis, is there anywhere that i might post up small videos (2meg,13secs) or pictures?

You'd need webhosting, Wilson_industries. I think there's some free image hosting monstrosity somewhere on the net. The trick is to rename your .MPG or movie file to like a .GIF and then upload it.

ive been workin with a really good 3d modeler/animater and im becoming quite fond of it... go to blender3d.org to check it out and its totally free but the only way to export it to a game is to code with python which ive never done soooo jus check it out :D and read the tuts thatt are there!

Python is a scripting language that shares TONS of similarities to Perl. Why can't games be developed with Perl as the scripting language instead of Python?

Do you know how much better my chances of getting into the industry would be then? I could be a main C/++ designer, but also, I could work as a scripter with my 1337 perl skills.

I want some hard proof that Python is better fit for the job than Perl. Can anybody find me some?
