As a type 1 diabetic, this pisses me off. I can't believe he's using our disease to push his agenda. Disgusting.

Um... So is he trying to say doctors don't take care of diabetics? I can't follow him, and I'm too lazy to watch the video over again.

Phew.. Obama's administration isn't turning out that good like people first thought..

umm.. i just found it an interesting article, thought maybe people would like to be educated on the subject..
the sub forum is after all called General/Off-Topic. a lot of the members are american residents, and this effects them.

And I was just making a light-hearted observation that these kind of topics usually degrade into page long flame wars. I wasn't saying you were missusing the General/Off-Topic sub forum.

I like to hope that this forum contains enough intelligent people to have a mature debate. I can't say that about the userbase of most forums.

Probably lying to push his agenda. I doubt the president of the USA would leave his speech to assumption. I think it's douchey, however you look at it is your own opinion.

As much as I hate defending Obama... He's saying that doctors should be reimbursed more for the treatment of diabetes. (before it becomes an even greater problem like amputation) Whether that will save money is debatable.
