This is a hypothetical story about how Sega couldn've become the industry leader of Video games (Sony's current position).

First, it all comes down to the playstation 1) not existing 2) being delayed.

The year is '94 and Sega has just launched t3h 32X and Saturn shortly after. People shun the 32X and praise the Saturn. Nintendo, however, has no right to talk trash. They've just released the Virtual Boy which was also shunned.

Now that we have the 3D Saturn which obviously pwnz the Virtual Boy and SNES combined, people begin to buy that. At this point, if Sony would've come in, Sega would lose. The Saturn was the worse hardware and was harder to develop for. If Sony didn't come in, people continue to make games for the saturn. Then the N64 comes out. Same deal as with PS vs. N64. You get an "oooooh...AHHHH!", but nobody really devs for it because the Saturn has way more titles released and alot of people already have it.

At this point, god could allow Sony to release their playstation. The playstation now, would assume the position of Dreamcast in current day. (an awesome ass machine that has been forgotten because people didn't like it).

Now Sega would launch the Dreamcast, which would totally destroy all competition. After a few years of monopoly, it would be threatened once again by the PS2, Qbe, and X-box. But now, it would be ready. With an array of awesome, worldly known games, the Dreamcast would be the world's top console. Even if the hardware was the worst, people would still stick with it.

After a few more years of struggle, it would become present day. We'd either be graced with the Dreamcast 2 right now, or it'd be called the DreamVorbis in my honor.

...and that's the story of how Sega could've owned the world...

Excellent story! Fantasy is one of my favorite genres.

HahhahhahhahNO!

hrmm... Well, tell me then.

An obsession with Dreamcast vs. a morbid obsession with Vampires.

What do you guys think?

Blood-sucking... How does that work?

Vampires are weird. Maybe it's just because of all of the bad movies/television programs I've seen involving them, but I really don't like vampires.
