Elysian Shadows

Anyone here use the langauge Alice??? I was wendering what its really good for, our school just got it for our IT club (plus a good book) and i will probably end up teaching it to the jr. high kinda (after school (to the those who join the IT club)(sence i have some programming experience (not alot but more then them)(or another teacher (math i think (think she has some past with alice)). but is it a decent langauge?

It basically bridges the gap over to c++, or so ive heard. I think the language is fine, ive used i, the crappy thing is that ALL of the lines of code you MUSt drag and drop, which can be a good thng for beginners, bad thing for experts.
