Never spend too much on a laptop your going to program games with!
You could end up fucking it up ;)

The main problem is that I need a Laptop to take with me to work and school, and I need some space in my bedroom too. :)

I'm afraid that this Processor Celeron 900 will not work very well with C++, SDL and some SQL DATABASE programming.

Looks like its up to about US $400 now so there goes that idea. I would recommend checking out newegg.com for some of their daily deals. You can probably score a relatively inexpensive laptop that has enough juice to do what you need for about 400-500.

go to a pawn shop ask to see it work and buy one (that's nice). or ask for something with no OS and install your own (linux is a FREE solution (usually)).
