See, this never would have happened if he had written this down on his hand.

He relies on his teleprompter for everything -- and it's pretty amazing technology, too, because it auto-generates intelligent, thoughtful responses to press conference questions, Republican retreat questions, etc. I'm still not sure how it does that.

Oscar Wilde is entitled to his opinion.

But if you're going to start highlighting stupid things that political figures do/say, you can do much better than this obvious cherry-picking. Come on, nobody's mentioned the Palin hand-scribblings yet? Yet Obama's misread of the teleprompter makes the cut?

what is the difference between having a note written on a paper, your hand, or on a teleprompter?

who cares what sarah palin does..., last time i check she is not a political figure after resigning her governors post.

how ever, being the Commander-in-chief, and committing a faux pas of that magnitude. yeah, that deserves a laugh.

stop being a little whiny bitch, grow a set and be a god damn man.

RARRR YEAH CHEST BUMP INC!

Palin counts as a political figure, sorry, given that she's regularly speaking at political rallies and is seriously considering running for president -- yes, you read that right, that's not a joke -- in 2012. And the difference between using hand scribbles and using a teleprompter is that one of them is what elementary school students do (and no intelligent person would do if they knew they had a million cameras pointed at them). Further, I'm willing to bet that Obama's teleprompter didn't remind him to "lift American spirits" or some other asinine thing like that.

I do agree that, given that Obama is the Commander-In-Chief, his rare, insignificant slip ups warrant a chuckle. No doubt they stand out when they occur.

you know, i was sitting here thinking, and im a dumb ass for engaging you in this childish game. you are a child, i post a link, and the first thing you say is... but sarah palin... are you 5 for fucks sakes. jesus christ man. stop deflecting any situation you dont like. you could have just said yeah it may have just been an innocent mistake. albeit one make twice in short succession. but yet you take the focus off by saying "well this person did this, which in my opinion is dumber."

its really pathetic.

do you ever address issues you don't like directly. oh yeah, wait i forgot, you are perfect and don't have issues.

I'm flattered that I come across as perfect and without any issues to the point at which you assume it's true, but I assure you, as I've said many times, I'm far from perfect and indeed have many "issues".

For one, I thrive on wasting effort in these sort of bickerings when I could be doing much more productive things. But I can't resist!

you said absolutely nothing germane. again, deflecting.

Wait, deflecting what now? Addressing your cherry-picking? Sorry, perhaps the proper "adult" response is to merely post dozens of examples of political figures who I'm ideologically opposed to saying similarly inane things. Unfortunately that would be quite the undertaking.

actually the adult thing is to address the post i made if you so choose to do. posting videos about the politicians you don't like in response to this as if to make this my point less valid some how, is still childish. but i guess that just proves how much of a child you are.
