Hello everyone

Hello,
My name is Jacob and I am a freelance web application developer who has just recently taken an active role in the development of simple games. I started working with PHP in the 5th grade ( I am now a sophomore ) and have published numerous professional grade applications written utilizing the MVC paradigm. I picked up learning C++ about three years ago and have pieced together knowledge ever since. About a year and a half ago I started dabbling ( don't scough ) in XNA, although I love C# as it is most familiar to me ( being entirely OOP ) I recognize its short comings. So once again I have begun the learning process and am in the final stages of wrapping up C++ and have started working with SDL.
I grasp the concept and think, in time I can call myself a game developer. I am truly built from the ground up to one day become a programmer..this stuff truly is my life. I have ratings in PHP, MySQL/Postgre and a course certification in MVC ( yep, no age limits on those ). I also work well with JS ( Mootools and Jquery ), XML, Ajax and the latter... C# came simple to me, so I will go out on a limb and say I have it down for the most part ( though I feel I may never use it ), C++ I feel I am more proficient in but I lack knowledge on how it is used for mainstream game development.
So to conclude my lengthy post,
-If you need any web development/design help at all... hit me up
-I'm excited to be part of a community with at least some educated developers
-I look forward to our future Q & A sessions ( oh the Q&A )
Adieu!
-Jacob K
