I just made up my mind that I was a Droid Eris by HTC and then I see this bit of news... it appears to be a rather broad things to sue over such as using a gesture to unlock the phones, which almost all touchscreen phones use today.

The real matter at hand is that I blame Arce for his everlasting love for this greedy company.

Goddamn, this is really bitchy of Apple. They're essentially gunning after all competitors in order to have a monopoly on the smart phone business. Some of those patents are extremely generic and can be applied to most electronics, too.

Yet another instance of Apple showing what a greedy, monopolizing, bastardizing, anti-progressive piece of shit the company really is. I am a fan of lots of the products, but the company itself is the closest thing to Satan that I think exists.

If Microsoft did this, we would have a social uprising. Apple does it, and it's all cool. Ask yourselves who big brother REALLY is.

In any case, sooner or later apple will have a problem thanks to their devious ways. someone will mess them up royally. Hell, it could even be apple itself with how much they've been hurting their fan base the last few years. It's only a matter of time.
